Our in-house Paper Wrap services

Whilst still seen as relatively new to market, we’ve seen a big demand since our first line was installed in 2021.

Paper wrap is ideal for most items which have traditionally been mailed in poly wrap or envelopes, including catalogues, magazines, brochures, newsletters and charity appeals. It’s robust so will protect your publication throughout the postal system and for some mailings, can help achieve better postage discounts. We can wrap from A5 to A4 sized publications.

We offer both plain and full colour pre-printed paper wrapping solutions which create impressive looking mail packs that really stand out. Our high quality inkjet heads run inline to print variable data, barcodes and postage PPI’s as well as text, images and logos. So even if you’re using plain wrap, you can still have a message or some branding on the pack.

Packs are glued along the outside edges, as well as the flap. We can also add a perforation to create a tear off strip for easy opening.

Paper wrap can help boost your company’s eco credentials and support any environmental commitments associated with CSR policies and ISO Standards. It’s a great way to show your customers you care about the environment. Packs can be recycled, and, as with all the paper we purchase, the reels used for paper wrap are carbon captured through The Woodland Trust.

Why would I choose paper wrap over envelopes or poly wrap?

  • It can be more cost effective than envelopes, especially when mailing thicker publications, higher volumes, or if you want a full colour outer.

  • It stands out! Full colour paper wrap ensures maximum impact. It also creates a new opportunity for advertising space

  • It’s easily recycled and demonstrates to your customers or prospects that you’re serious about sustainability.

  • Paper wrap may achieve better postal discounts than poly or potato starch wrap

  • We carbon capture all the paper we supply, including the paper wrap reels.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you have maximum quantities?

Paper wrap is generally most cost-effective for mailings over 5,000 items.

  • What can I paper wrap?

Paper wrap is ideal for magazines, catalogues, brochures, prospectuses, charity appeals and lots more, basically, anything that would otherwise mail in poly wrap or envelopes. We can insert up to 4 items into each pack.

  • What information can you print onto plain paper wrap?

With our high-quality HP inkjet heads, variable data is printed inline. We can also print your company  logo or a marketing message on the front of the pack.

  • What are the sustainability benefits of paper wrap?

At KJS, we carbon capture all the paper we use, including the large paper wrap reels, and we encourage you to use the carbon capture logo on your mail pack. The paper is 100% recyclable and FSC certified. And, because it’s paper, it’s clear to the recipient it can be recycled.

  • Plain or printed paper wrap?

The plain paper keeps the pack nice and simple. We’ll print the postage PPI, return address and recipient’s name and address all inline as the packs are being wrapped and we can also print your company logo and a strapline or marketing message.

Printed paper wrap allows you to really promote your product or service and create a pack that will get noticed. It also offers a good opportunity to sell advertising space. We can even help to design the pack.
