Fast and accurate envelope enclosing services

Each year, we mail millions of items in envelopes. C4, C5, DL, window, non window, white, manilla, red, green or black, printed full colour or left plain, when it comes to envelopes, the list is endless.

At KJS, our high speed envelope inserting lines run at up to 16,000 items per hour. We can handle large, medium or low volume mailings, inserting one or a multiple number of items, including letters, brochures, leaflets, and BREs.

Our lines are fitted with the latest technology to allow for 100% mailing verification and camera match mailing (when inserting two or more personalised items) or selective inserting. This is especially important for transactional mailings, such as bank or pension statements, or charity mailings where there may be a personalised letter and personalised donation form.

When inserting into non window envelopes, we'll use our high speed, high quality inkjet to direct address. For window envelopes, most items are usually laserpersonalised though one of our laser printers.

The trusted envelope is an important element of any mailing. It’s the first thing the recipient will see when it lands on their desk or doormat so it’s crucial it’s not left as an afterthought. With envelope printing in-house, we can add a message or graphic to your envelopes.

It can save money. The discounted postal rates we can offer (often lower than franked mail costs) can outweigh the fulfilment cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have minimum quantities?

No! We can mail from one single item (yes, we really do get asked to mail one item!) to tens of thousands. We don’t don’t mind what the quantity is.
Do I need to supply envelopes?

No, we can supply your envelopes. As well as the outer envelopes you’ll be using to send your mailing out in, we can also supply Business Reply Envelopes.
Can I have a message printed onto my envelopes?

We have envelope printing in-house, so we can print a marketing message or images, as well as return address and PPI.
What size envelopes can I use?

We can machine insert into DL up to C4 envelopes. If you need to use envelopes bigger or smaller than this, we’ve got a dedicated team to insert them manually.
How does an envelope size affect postage cost?

There are many factors which determine the postage rate. The size of the envelope is the first consideration - a C5 envelope will qualify as a Letter rate, whereas anything bigger will be classed as a Large Letter, which will cost slightly more. However, it’s not just the size of the envelope; it’s also the depth of the pack and its weight. We’ll also give you an estimated postage cost when we quote on your mailing.
Can I insert more than one personalised item?

Our envelope-inserting lines are fitted with cameras to match mailing personalised items going into the same envelope. We’ll print a small barcode for each item, which the camera reads to ensure 100% accuracy. It’s ideal for transactional mail or charity appeals, where you might include a personalised letter and personalised donation form.
